Rationale

Tesla, under Elon Musk's visionary leadership visionary leadership, has consistently pushed the boundaries of automotive technology, and the upcoming event on March 11 promises to be no exception. The anticipation surrounding Tesla's progress towards a self-driving, Robotaxi service has been palpable among investors and tech enthusiasts alike.
Which way could this go? Well anything is possible. Check out the graph below. It shows the impact Musk's announcement have had on the stock over the last few years. Not all announcements have had a positive impact, as the red boxes indicate. Real events, like its listing on the S&P 500, impacted the stock much more, as did real earnings and sales numbers.

I'm going to bet on a sharp upside move, although the contrary could be almost as likely. Expectations are so high than any mediocre results could set to stock down sharply. So why bullish? It's just that the technical factors (a convergent price / RSI trend) are more bullish than bearish.
It's also because the stars have aligned in favor of arisk reward play using options. I'll risk $85 to make around $1000 and $3000 if TSLA makes just a "normal" Fibonacci wave move. That up to its resistance pivot point $300 by end of day October 11.
If it shoots up beyond that, which I don't expect, that will still net me about a $490 gain, still not so shabby.
